CISA Infosearch:SA

The CISA Infosearch:SA Browser is a community services database which has been developed to help people find information about services, activities and organisations available in South Australia. It provides a guide to 1300 agencies meeting a broad range of needs in the areas of education, employment and training, accommodation, community participation, health and welfare, legal rights, recreation and the arts. To be included organisations must provide a direct service to the public or be a peak support agency. They should operate on a not-for-profit basis and have an accountable management structure. CISA collects information at a state or regional level, while local and specialist information services may add their own local or specific information. There are 4 ways of using CISA Infosearch: Index Lists all agencies in the database including alternative names, former names and acronyms. Subjects Lists all services and subjects included in the database. Search Enter your own search for particular words and phrases within the database. Directory Groups similar agencies together in chapters and sections. This is the same format as the table of contents of the Directory of Community Services.
